Zak Kinsella is an illustrator and cartoonist working for news and publishing companies such as The New York Times, Uhh Yeah Dude, Time Warner, Village Voice Media, and many more. He has always found comic books at his heart, and has pursued them with his creator owned books "Midspace," "King Maul," and "Outre Veil." He has also contributed to various books such as "Liberator" and "Toe Tag Riot" from Black Mask.
Zak was recently invited to be a permanent exhibitor at the "Hall of Justice Gallery" on the Santa Fe Arts District of Denver, CO. This is also where he calls home where he likes to draw Denver's classic Victorian and Second French Empire houses, and buildings in his free time.
For the curious of mind, I tend to work traditionally but that has never slowed me down or made me miss a deadline. I prefer lead holders, bristol board and a nice Windsor & Newton Sable brush when I ink my work. I do go digital for my coloring and that's how it's done!
